(Actually, any berry is good for you… they’re high in anti-oxidants and  they actually keep us young… blueberries are the best and very versatile in the health field… they get rid of all the free-radicals that invade our bodies)

Orange: Sweetest medicine. Taking 2 – 4 oranges a day may help keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessen the risk of colon cancer.

Watermelon: Coolest Thirst Quencher. Composed of 92%  water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene – the cancer fighting oxidant. Other  nutrients found in watermelon are Vitamin C & Potassium. The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our body to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to ‘schedule.’

Because: Evening at 9 – 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (de-toxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on her health. So, husbands should watch out for this.

Evening at 11pm – 1am : The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 – 3am : de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 – 5am : de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 – 7am : de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 – 9am : Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 -10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals.

Aside from that, midnight to 4 AM is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.Therefore, have a good sleep and don’t sleep late.

Person who got cured of advance stomach cancer using Honey and Black Seeds

Hope all is well. Some one sent this to me very useful. The following information is about a person who got cured of advance stomach cancer when all the oncologists including the German oncologists had told him that his case was incurable. After being left in Al- Ain Hospital (UAE) to be taken care of as there was no hope for him to be cured from the doctors, he still continued with his prayers (Salaah) and kept on reciting the Holy Quran. A few days later a young man comes and talks to him about his condition and tells him that his disease can be cured by taking the following mixture:

1/2 kg of Natural Pure Honey
2 heaped table spoon of Kalonji seeds (Black Seeds/ Habbat Sauda)
1 bulb of organic garlic
Grind the kalonji seeds preferably with a mortar and pestle, mash the whole garlic and mix it with the honey into a smooth paste.
Take one teaspoon of this mixture daily before breakfast for about 3-6months and InshaAllah you will be cured of your disease.
Also take one glass of camel milk every night.

After 3 weeks of taking this medicine, the person started walking and eating again without vomiting blood.

After about 3 months he went to see his oncologists to get him tested and they were shocked to find out that there was no trace of any cancer or tumor
in his body. Subhanallah! How Allah cures us when we sincerely turn to Him for shafa!

‘Wa idha maridhtu fahuwa yashfeen’ ‘And he heals me when I am sick’ (Holy Quran, 26:80)

This is a true story that took place four years ago, the person is now around 63years of age and still continues working at Dubai Hospital.

Hadith about Honey:

“By Him in whose hand is my soul, eat honey. For there is no house in which honey is kept for which the angels will not ask for mercy. If a person eats honey, a Thousand remedies enter his stomach and a Million diseases will come out. If a man dies and honey is found within him, fire will not touch his body [i.e., he will be immune from the burning of hell].” hadith

Hadith about black seed (Kalonji):

Al-Bukhaari reported ‘Aa’ishah (May Allah be pleased with her) as having said that the Prophet Sallallahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam had said: “There is healing in the black seed for every disease except death.” [Al-Bukhaari and Muslim].

As for the manner of using it as a healing agent, there is no particular way. In his book ‘Fath al-Bari’, Ibn Hajar said, “Al-Mustaghfiri in his ‘Book of Medicine’ reported Ibn Buraidah (May Allah be pleased with him) as having quoted the Prophet Sallallahu ‘Alayhi wa Sallam saying: ‘There is healing in the black seed…etc.’
In another narration it was said, ‘What is the black seed?’ He said, ‘Shoneez’ (a name for black seed; scientific name Nigella sativa).
Someone then asked, ‘How can I use it?’ to which he answered: You take twenty one grains (black seeds) and put them in a piece of cloth then in water for one night. When you get up in the following morning, you drop one drop in your right nostril and two in your left nostril”.

Al-Haafith (Ibn Hajar May Allah have mercy upon him) said, “What is to be understood from this Hadeeth about the black seed being a healing for every disease is that it is not necessarily applied alone as a treatment procedure for every case. Rather it may be used alone, in combination with something else, pulverized, directly without pulverizing it, mixed with food and drink, or as dressing, etc.”

I hope this information will help all those who are suffering or have their dear ones going through a similar situation.

Remedy for Obesity

Obesity is the condition where a person has excessive deposit or storage of fat in his/her body. It can affect a person in any and every age group and is also not restricted by sex. Obesity is found more in people who consume food in large quantities and lead a sedentary live. A serious health hazard, the extra fat puts strain on the heart, kidneys, liver and joints of hips, knees and ankles. The causes of obesity include overeating, low basal metabolism, thyroid or pituitary gland disorders, sedentary lifestyle, genetic factors and hormonal imbalance. While being overweight refers to an increase in overall body weight, including essential body tissues, obesity refers only to excessive fat tissues. However, obesity can be treated effectively at home, resorting to some natural ways. Given below are some effective home remedies for curing the problem of obesity.

Home Remedies for Obesity
* The easiest and effective remedy to fight obesity would be to have 10 grams of honey, along with a glass of warm water. Consume this in the morning, on an empty stomach. If found effective, the dose can be increased with time.

* You can also mix juice of half a lime and one teaspoon of fresh honey in a glass of lukewarm water. Have this early in the morning, followed by every few hours intake.

* Consuming 10-12 fully grown curry leaves every morning, for 3 months, is found beneficial in dealing with the problem of obesity.

* Have one or two tomatoes, on an empty stomach, every morning. This has been found to be effective in curing obesity.

* In a glass of boiling water, add ginger and lemon slices. Steep for sometime and strain the water. Have this decoction when warm. Not only would it treat obesity, it would also control overeating tendency.

* In a cup of water, add 3 tsp limejuice, ½ tsp powdered black pepper and 1 tsp honey. Have this concoction regularly, once a day, for 3 months.

* Include loads of cabbage in your diet. You can have its leaves raw or boiled. You can also make a vegetable out of it or use it in salads.

* Take out fresh carrot juice, add a little water and churn it in a blender. Filter the juice and drink it.

* Include French beans, jackfruits, grapes, figs, peaches, phalsa and guava in the diet.

* Having green tea has been found to be beneficial in treating obesity. You can also consume tea made from dandelion root.

* In a cup of lukewarm water, add ½ tbsp honey and ½ tsp holy basil paste. Consume this everyday, for treating obesity.

* Horse gram can help cure obesity. Soak 1-2 tbsp horse gram in a glass of water and keep it overnight. Filter the concoction the next morning and have it on an empty stomach.

Heart disease: Papayas may be very helpful for the prevention of atherosclerosis and diabetic heart disease.

Papayas are an excellent source of vitamin C as well as a very good source of vitamin E and beta-carotene, three very powerful antioxidants.These nutrients help prevent the oxidation of cholesterol. Only when cholesterol becomes oxidised is it able to stick to and build up in blood vessel walls, forming dangerous plaques that can eventually cause heart attacks or strokes.

High cholesterol: Papayas are also a very good source of fibre, which has been shown to lower high cholesterol levels.

The folic acid found in papayas is needed for the conversion of a substance called homocysteine into benign amino acids. If unconverted, homocysteine can directly damage blood vessel walls and is considered a significant risk factor for a heart attackor stroke.

Cancer: Papaya’ s fibre is able to bind to cancer-causing toxins in the colon and keep them away from the healthy colon cells.

In addition, papaya’s folate, vitamin C, beta-carotene, and vitamin E have each been associated with a reduced risk of colon cancer. These nutrients provide synergistic protection for colon cells from free radical damage to their DNA.Increasing your intake of these nutrients by enjoying papaya is an especially good idea for individuals at risk of colon cancer.

Inflammation: The enzymes contained in papaya have been shown to help lower inflammation and to improve healing from burns.In addition, the antioxidant nutrients found in papaya are also very good at reducing inflammation. This may explain why people with diseases that are worsened by inflammation, such as asthma, osteoarthrit is and rheumatoid arthritis, find that the severity of their condition is reduced when they get more of these nutrients.A July 2004 study indicates that vitamin C-rich foods, such as papaya, provide humans with protection against inflammatory polyarthritis, a form of rheumatoid arthritis involving two or more joints. The findings, presented in the Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases were drawn from a study of more than 20,000 subjects who kept diet diaries and were arthritis-free when the study began.

Subjects who consumed the lowest amounts of vitamin C-rich foods were more than three times more likely to develop arthritis than those who consumed the highest amounts.

Other benefits: The fibre found in papayas may also help with the symptoms of those suffering from irritable bowel syndrome.

In addition, vitamin C and vitamin A, which is made in the body from the beta-carotene in papaya, are both needed for the proper function of a healthy immune system. Papaya may therefore be a healthy fruit choice for preventing such illnesses asrecurrent ear infections, colds and flu.

The Ayurveda experts have regarded papain as a remedy for abdominal disorders. It is a good medicine for dysentery, hyperacidity, dyspepsia and constipation.

Pimples are removed by rubbing the white pulp of raw papaya on the face. It bringslustre to the face and removes wrinkles.
The ripe fruit is easily digestible and prevents constipation.

Case studies indicate that this food taken alone for two or three days has a highly beneficial tonic effect upon the stomach and intestines.
